- Summarize Happenstance Learning Theory including its origins and how to apply it to career counseling
- Explore the relationship between MBTI® preferences and the Happenstance approach including research conducted on psychological type and career beliefs
- Participate in a lively interactive discussion reviewing real-life stories and examples from the book Luck Is No Accident: Making the Most of Happenstance in Your Life and Career (New Harbinger, 2010).

Dr. Al Levin is Professor Emeritus of Counselor Education at California State University, Sacramento, where he was awarded the Outstanding Teaching Award for 2016-17. In addition, he was formerly Assistant Director at Stanford University’s Career Development Center, MBA Career Management Center, and Lecturer at Stanford’s School of Education. Dr. Levin has served as a trainer and author for CPP, Inc., and has made presentations at professional Conferences throughout the United States. Al has ENTP preferences. |
